Vinexpo 2013-Day 4

Another quiet day (the calm before the storm) as we visted Château Guiraud in the wonderful town of Sauternes. Even though these visits were organized by our Bordeaux negociant, most  wineries are empty of key personnel due to the upcoming Vinexpo. So again our vist to Guiraud was a general guided tour of vineyards, cellars  and a simple taste of their  3 wines in just under one hour. Then had a very lovely lunch at “Auberge des Vignes” in Sauternes then went off to Chateu La Tour Blanche for an afternoon of a “Sweet Wines of the World” tasting wich included 27 different producers, including icewines from Inniskillin (Riesling, Vidal and Cabernet Franc) as these posts only allow 1 picture, I encourage everyone  to follow my Facebook page.
